Christmas Is Coming

So with little more than a month left to go till Christmas we decided to take some pictures for possible Christmas cards. The following shots are the results of a day long photo shoot with my two kids. Ok so in reality two minutes of photos and two hours of play, sleep, lunch, snack and whatever else a 4 year old and an 11 month old can come up with. It was pretty fun day at home with the family. There were some good shots, great shots and then well, there kids you can figure it out from there. I think we'll have a few keepers but you'll to watch your mail boxes for "the" keeper.

Fall Clean Up

Living in the woods has it's benefits, fall clean up is not one of them! So on go the winter jackets, mittens, hats and boots. Out we went to clean the yard. I had my trusty leaf blower and my daughter her little rack. Clean a little, pile a few, jump in a bunch, thats pretty much how the day went. After cleaning up an acre of leafs I now have a nice clean yard and oh yeah a rippin cold. It appears that that I'm allergic to the world and the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree, my oldest also has a cold! So now we wait for the snow to come....

So I kinda know what I'm doing

I'm slowly learning this html language. Between the blog and my site I have been able to spruce up both quite a bit. It's really not a hard thing learn there are some great sites and folks out there in cyber world to help you get along.

Every few days I will post a picture and a quick story to go along with it, like how, what and where along with any cool info to go along with it.

Lets start with this one. This photo was taken on Mt. Washington's Cog Rail Road. If any body has ever been up there they know how much fun it can be. Who doesn't like being covered in soot when ever you open the window. To get this shot I was leaning out a window on the right side of the train with my camera another arms length past that. The bridge just ahead is at about 37 degrees to the mountain very steep.
